Fiona Fountain Associates (FFA) is a public relations and fundraising consultancy, established in 1994, to work with voluntary and not-for-profit organisations.

The company also provides strategic and hands-on PR for commercial organisations wishing to promote their services or products to voluntary and nonprofit sector customers.

how we work

To our work with charities, social enterprises and other nonprofits we apply extensive PR and fundraising experience, as well as an in-depth knowledge of these sectors to create workable, cost-effective solutions. And throughout this process we seek to integrate PR and fundraising whenever possible. In our experience both functions benefit from this approach.

We bring a commitment that goes beyond simply earning our fee. The UK has a vibrant and effective voluntary sector, unlike any other in the world. It provides invaluable social support, enabling people to make meaningful and long-term changes for the better to the communities and environments in which they live. We believe this is something that needs to be preserved and supported whenever possible.

For commercial clients we provide a communications channel into the UK’s complex voluntary and nonprofit sectors. We can help companies to develop and implement communications strategies, create partnerships with charitable organisations or develop a corporate social responsibility programme.

We have a range of fixed-price off-the-shelf PR and fundraising services but can also develop tailored programmes to suit each client.

We want an open and honest relationship with our clients so all work is agreed in advance and regularly reviewed against stated objectives.

From time to time we also work very closely with a limited number of other professionals that we have come to trust. These practitioners are all experts in their respective fields and will only be used if we think that they can bring additional skills to a project or we feel that additional support is needed. A client’s consent is always sought before doing this.

Employing the services of a consultant or agency is a commitment not to be undertaken lightly. A few simple steps though, right at the start, can help you avoid or minimise costly mistakes.
